Donna has over 40 years of experience in the animal industry, with 15 years being in the pet industry. She has a natural ability to connect with all animals. Her family includes two wonderful children, Matthew and Sarah, and four fantastic grandbabies, Bobby, Lil' Matt, Phoenix And Damien. She also has a Golden Retriever, Snickers, a Mastiff, Magnus, a Goffins Cockatoo, CC, a Blue and Gold Macaw, Calypso, an African Grey, Sarabi, and a Catalina Macaw, Valentino.

Hailing from LA and NY, Somer came to KY pursuing a career in pet grooming, where she graduated and interned at the Nash Academy of Animal Arts. She's had extensive experience with canines in her volunteer efforts through various NY Animal Shelter rescue and training programs. She is also an Animal Behavior College 2006 Alumni and has completed several developmental courses in animal behavior and health care. When not busy grooming, Somer spends her time with her better half, Steve and their cat and two dogs.
